About

I am a geospatial scientist focused on researching human geography, urbanization, and natural hazards. I enjoy working on problems at the interface of the environment and human communities. My work has included projects in archaeometry, land use planning, resilience planning, and ecological monitoring, among other topics.

Presently, I am developing an early detection and monitoring tool for cyanobacteria blooms using Python šŸ. As an extension of work I did as a graduate student, I am writing a manuscript for publication on quantifying post-fire vegetation recovery in the Northern Sierra Nevada (California). As the founder of the Rhode Island Stone Wall Mapping Project, I am also employing ground object detection techniques to map and analyze the spatial patterns of stone walls there.

In addition to these projects, I provide GIS and remote sensing services to small clients, offering tailored solutions for their unique needs. Feel free to connect with me to discuss how my skills and experience can contribute to your organizationā€™s goals.
